PROJECTS

Montreal's World Trade Centre is a complex that spans an entire city block in the heart of Montreal. It consists of several restored historic buildings, all under an enormous glass roof.

 

For this project, Unitec supplied:

- Clay pavers 4 x 8 x 2 from the United States

- Porcelain Mosaic tile from the United States 

- Marble and porcelain tile from Italy

The Burj Khalifa is currently the world's tallest skyscraper standing at a height of well over 800 meters. The building is host to a luxury hotel, multiple floors of condominiums, corporate suites, observatories and restaurants.

 

Unitec was proud to supply:

-  granite for the ground floor

-  Italian quartz for floors and walls in the tunnel

-  Italian quartz on the 124th floor for the "At the Top" observatory

-  Turkish marble on the 148th floor for the "New Deck" observatory

-  Indian stone on the 148th floor for the "New Deck" observatory

The Delta Hotels by Marriott is one of North America's finest hotel chains. Over multiple projects, Unitec supplied:

- polished white 12 x 24 porcelain floor tile of Chinese origin

- multicolored 3 x 12 glass mosaics

- granite tabletops from India   

- quartz desktops of Chinese origin

- quartz bathroom countertops of Chinese and Italian origin

This station, built in 1889, is a national historic site. The recent expansion led to its integration with the Bonaventure subway, Lucien l'Allier train station as well as the Bell Centre. Designed to accommodate heavy foot-traffic, Unitec  provided over 45,000 square feet of Italian 12 x 12 and 16 x 16  Terrazzo tile, custom produced to match the original look of the floor.   

Ghayathi Community Hospital serves as a major hub in the region’s expanding healthcare network. It features 50 patient beds, two operating rooms, an emergency department, dialysis unit and imaging center, as well as support services for all departments.

Unitec supplied all ceramic tile for the project including 12 x 12, 12 x 24 and 24 x 24 floor tile from Germany, Portugal and China. 

St. Patrick's Basilica was built in the Gothic Revival style, overlooking the City of Montreal. It opened in 1847 and has since been named a Provincial Historic Monument and a National Historic Site. In the most recent of its four major restorations, Unitec supplied:

​- 12 x 12 porcelain tile with custom designed porcelain mosaics from Switzerland 

- Multicolored marble inlays from Italy
